Igor Sechin Discusses Prospects for Offshore and Onshore Cooperation in Russia with CNPC
30 May 2013On May 30, 2013 Igor Sechin, Rosneft President and Chairman of the Management Board, held talks with CNPC management as part of a working trip to Beijing.
The parties discussed prospects for implementation of joint projects in seismic studies, exploration and hydrocarbon production and signed a number of documents concerning mutual cooperation.
The blocks in question are those located in Barents and Pechora Seas (West Prinovozemelsky, Yuzhno-Russky and Medynsko-Varandeisky) as well as onshore blocks in Irkutsk region, Krasnoyarsk Kray and Nenets Autonomous Okrug.
