A career guidance project for young people, #VLYUBLENvPROFESSIYU, developed by employees of Rosneft subsidiaries (Kondaneft and Syzran Refinery) has become a finalist for the #MYVMESTE International Award.
The project aims to help teenagers choose their future careers and teach young professionals how to adapt to the current labour market conditions.
This idea has been highly praised by the award experts and recommended for scaling up. The project team plans to set up regional #VLYUBLENvPROFESSIYU career guidance centres that will operate on a one-stop-shop basis. Pilot sites for the project launch will be set up in Khanty-Mansiysk and Syzran.
This initiative will bring together businesses, schools, universities and colleges, state corporations and NGOs, and will become a destination for young people. These centres will be used for open lessons, seminars and workshops, as well as for career orientation testing. At the workshops, schoolchildren and students will be able to interact with professionals in their field, who will explain the ins and outs and required competencies of different professions.
The authors of the idea also plan to organise tours of the companies that will be part of the project. The initiative will be supported by a telegram bot where anyone can learn about career opportunities in the region.
